Happy Sunday!
Every Sunday I offer strategies for the week ahead and a thought to fuel your action.
As we reach the pinnacle of the holiday season I wanted to send good wishes to you and your family.
I hope that you are able to take some time over the course of this week and the next to become fully present with your loved ones and friends.
The work we do day in and day out has an impact, a great impact on others. We are called upon to be a sounding board and a sherpa for others. To help them fulfill their greater purpose.
And at times, this can be a burden. But ultimately it is extremely meaningful and fulfilling.
But we all need time to recharge and give ourselves to those that allow us to make the impact we do every day, our family and friends.
So, as the holiday quickly approaches, my hope is that you find time to be with loved ones and to recharge.
Thank you for all you do. And thank you for allowing me to take space in your inbox each Sunday.
Happy Holidays!
A Thought To Ponder This Week
It would take 39,688 LEGO bricks, stacked on top of each other, to reach the height of the Empire State building.
Daunting, huh?!
Now, let's break it down.
What if that was our year-long goal? By stacking 108 LEGO bricks daily, we could achieve it. Even more manageable, perhaps, is 54 bricks in the morning and another 54 in the evening.
Initially, our progress might seem modest. In a week, we'd be as tall as a school bus. By the end of a month, we'd reach the height of a lighthouse.
And that's the key insight.
Progress, often unnoticed in the moment, accumulates significantly over time.
It's not about grand, sweeping achievements. Rather, it's the small, consistent efforts that build upon each other.
As we approach the final week of the year, let's ponder this: What small, daily actions can we take in 2024 to foster our personal growth and enhance our impact?
The best is ahead!
